NOTE: the following guests are now no longer attending: Jennifer Morrisson, Adrianne Palicki, Elizabeth Henstridge, Colin O’Donoghue, Chyler Leigh. You can use any ticket you pre-bought for a cancelled guest towards another guest. Please read the further information below:
We are still sending out e-tickets for both #tfz and #coh3. Please bear with us while these are sent and check your spam box. If you do not get an e-ticket bring your order confirmation with you for entry and proof of payment ie bank statement (printed or on an app).
It is with regret we have to announce that on Wednesday night we were told that Colin O’Donoghue has had to withdraw his appearance at #tfz, we look forward to working with Colin at a forthcoming SBUK convention.
As said before all guests appear subject to certain conditions on both sides. Unfortunately, we have a situation with one guest that we cannot fix. We worked through the night and tried very hard to work with Chlyer’s representatives and had written confirmation from her booking agent that all was well, a five-figure deposit was paid, and other arrangements such as hotels and cars were being organised, these are always done in the last few days just in case a guest cannot come so we don’t end up losing significant amounts of money on wasted rooms and transport. The remainder payment was due this week, however, the lawyers involved on Chyler’s side cancelled the appearance and are now refusing to even pay back the deposit. We have tried to negotiate but they are now not returning our calls or emails. Please note we are NOT blaming Chyler, this was never her fault and just as she is we are very angry at the situation this has caused us to be in 2 days before the event. We wish we could come to an arrangement outside of the lawyers and we are ready to talk as this would be best for the fans attending.
Rogue Events have been around since 2005, we know we don’t get things right all the time and we know there are areas we really need to improve on and we are trying to put these right, each year we do get things better.
We know that there will be people that will just blame us regardless of the circumstances and nothing we can do to change that and when we see the hate posts on twitter and facebook it is painful to read, however, we know that the majority of you don’t think and act like that and understand how things sometimes don’t work out.
We sincerely apologise to anyone who is disappointed, anyone who booked just for one guest, anyone that is flying/driving hundreds of miles, WE GET IT! We are disappointed too, we are all fans of the shows as well.
Right now there is nothing we can do on the guests that are no longer coming. We can only put all our efforts into the guests that are coming to make sure that they and you have the best time in the UK.
